Eco Houses of Vermont, LLC is proud to announce that our first Multifamily project, Elm Place, in Milton Vermont, has won the 2017 PHIUS Best Overall Passive House Project of 2017!   The award was presented at the 2017 PHIUS Conference in Seattle, Washington this past September.

We would like to thank Michael Wisniewski of Duncan Wisniewski Architecture whose vision of making this project a Passive House was the initial driving force for certification. We would also like to thank the new construction team at Cathedral Square (Miranda Lezcase, Cindy Reid, and Katie Forleo) for their support and enthousiasm for making this a Passive House…Vermont’s first Multifamily Passive House!

We are looking forward to working on other Multifamily projects, hopefully to the Passive House standard in the future.

If you have a project you are working on and want to discuss if it might benefit from Passive House design (and which project wouldn’t?) please contact us for a consultation.
